Jaipur Rugs opens store in UK, plans to open two more international stores in FY25

Handmade rug maker Jaipur Rugs, which opened a showroom in London this week, plans to add 2 more international stores this fiscal year, bringing the total count to 5, according to its Director, Mr. Yogesh Chaudhary. Known for its hand-knotted rugs and carpets, the company is also expanding domestically by opening five new stores in tier I and II cities to meet the growing demand for luxury home decor solutions. The company launched its first international store in Milan in December 2021, followed by a second in Dubai last year.

Jaipur Rugs is thrilled to expand its global footprint, building on its success in Milan and Dubai, as it showcases Indian design and craftsmanship to a global audience through its new showroom in London, said Mr. Yogesh Chaudhary. The London showroom is Jaipur Rugs’ 16th and 10th mono-brand store worldwide and its third international location. The Chelsea Harbour store will feature a range of hand-knotted rugs and carpets, showcasing traditional and contemporary designs. Domestically, Jaipur Rugs operates 10 mono-brand stores and plans to open five more this fiscal year. The company also has franchise stores in Surat, Ahmedabad, and Chennai and a presence in the US, China, and Russia through a sister concern and franchise model.
