REC Limited organizes a conference on Financing for Roads & Highways Sector

REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, organized a 'Financing for Roads and Highways' conference in New Delhi on January 8, 2024. Attended by key stakeholders from government and industry, the event facilitated discussions on financing aspects within the sector. Notably, four MoUs totalling US$ 1.9 billion (Rs. 16,000 Crore) were inked with prominent entities such as Dilip Buildcon Limited, GMR Power & Urban Infra, CDS Infra Projects Limited & DP Jain & Co. Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. Secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Mr. Anurag Jain, shared the Ministry's vision for sector development and emphasized the improved quality of roads in India over the years, expressing hope for collaborative growth between REC Limited and MoRTH.
