National e-Governance Division (NeGD), MeitY organises 40th Chief Information Security Officers’ Deep Dive Training Programme under Cyber Surakshit Bharat Initiative

The Cyber Surakshit Bharat initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), was conceived with the objective of raising awareness about cybercrime. Its mission is to enhance the capabilities of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and frontline IT officials across government departments. The initiative aims to ensure the implementation of robust safety measures to effectively counter the escalating threat of cyber-attacks. Organizations are urged to fortify their digital infrastructures and proactively prepare for future cybersecurity challenges.

Under the Capacity Building scheme of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), the 40th CISO Deep-Dive training program was conducted from December 4th to 8th, FY23. The program convened 31 participants representing states such as Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and New Delhi. The training took place at the Indian Institute of Public Administration in New Delhi.
