The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced that its flagship youth engagement platform, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), has surpassed two crore registrations, marking a key milestone in youth mobilisation toward the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. Launched on October 31, 2023, by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, MY Bharat serves as a technology-driven one-stop platform for citizens aged 15-29 years, offering volunteering, learning, and leadership opportunities. Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, called the achievement ‘a proud moment’ reflecting the energy and determination of India’s youth. At the same time, Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Ms. Raksha Nikhil Khadse, said the platform is helping young Indians transform aspiration into action.
MY Bharat has evolved into one of India’s largest youth-centric ecosystems, integrating digital tools with on-ground programmes. Initiatives such as Volunteer for Bharat and Experiential Learning Programme have promoted leadership and employability, while new features like the Public Profile, CV Builder, and Quiz & Essay Modules enhance engagement. The platform has facilitated over 14.5 lakh volunteering opportunities, partnering with 16,000 youth clubs and 60,000 institutions nationwide. By connecting rural and urban youth through structured, purpose-driven programmes, MY Bharat continues to foster civic awareness, skill development, and service-led nation-building.
