India on track to become US$ 35 trillion, fully developed economy by 2047: Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Textiles and Commerce & Industry, Mr. Piyush Goyal.

The Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, Mr. Piyush Goyal, expressed the government's goal to elevate India to a fully developed nation by 2047. He aims to boost the current US$ 3.7 trillion economy to US$ 30-35 trillion by 2047, ensuring food and energy security. Mr. Goyal praised Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's focus on strengthening India's macroeconomic fundamentals and welfare initiatives for the underprivileged. Under Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's leadership, India has climbed from the 11th largest to the 5th largest economy globally and is on track to become the 3rd largest by 2027. India has experienced its most prosperous decade in the past 75 years, marked by reduced inflation and controlled interest rates.
