Industry experts have praised the Budget's focus on critical minerals and green transition in India, highlighting the potential for self-reliance in resources and progress towards net-zero goals. Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman's recent Budget speech outlined various measures benefiting sectors like infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, education, startups, and green energy. Key points include advancements in thermal power technologies like Advanced Ultra Super Critical (AUSC), support for critical minerals, pumped hydro storage initiatives, abolishment of angel tax, and incentives for solar PV manufacturing. These steps are crucial for reducing import dependence, boosting domestic production, and advancing renewable energy targets.
