In its Global Economic Prospects 2010 report, the World Bank has projected that India will grow at 7.5 per cent in 2010-11 and at 8 per cent in 2011-12.

Meanwhile, a group of top 29 Sensex firms have announced results for the three month period ended December 2009, reporting total net profit growth of 20 per cent.

The Special this week focusses on the rural market in India which is becoming increasingly important for marketers such as Nestle, who are launching products specially designed for this market.
