Kolkata/ Bhubaneswar: The city based Roboticwares today announced the development of LPG Gas alarm and SMS system for prevention of accidents due to leakage from cooking gas stove, cylinder and rubber pipes.

The gadget developed by the company, formed by three engineer innovators, can alert a person about the gas leakage. While the sensor would send an alarm in case of gas leakage, simultaneously a SMS would be sent to the person if he is outside the home.

The customer can add any number of mobile numbers for SMS alert, Kushal Nahata, chief executive officer (CEO), Roboticwares said. Addressing the media persons, Nahata said, the company has also developed a remote video surveillance system named as ‘Far Eye’. This software can ensure home security, remote video surveillance and broadcasting. It enables a person to undertake remote video surveillance from anywhere in the world by real time video or audio streaming.

He said, the company has also developed University Automation System (Unimator) which helps in video lecturing, assignment system, storing complete information of the institution on web and provides access for the students to the lectures they have missed out.

KIIT, HDF School of Management and Piloo Modi College of Architecture have adopted this software. Roboticwares is also in the process of developing products for socially challenged people.

Gautam Kumar, the chief operating officer (COO) and Gaurav Srivastav, the chief ttechnology officer (CTO) of the company were present.
